Water jacket centrifugal concentrator designed based on gravitational acceleration principle. Dual-layer centrifugal drum + back-flush water system, placer gold recovery up to 99%+, single gold enrichment ratio up to 1000 times, no chemicals required, energy-saving and eco-friendly.
Centrifugal Gold Concentrator (also known as water jacket centrifuge, gold water jacket centrifuge) is one of the modern gravity separation equipment. Developed and improved based on traditional centrifuges, it enhances gravity separation through centrifugal force field, allowing heavy mineral particles to fully settle. The equipment features large capacity, wide particle size range, simple operation and maintenance. Widely used as rougher or cleaner for gold, tin, tungsten, titanium, hematite and other metallic minerals. Electromagnetic speed-regulating motor enables stepless stroke adjustment, reducing water consumption by 30%-40%, floor space by 1/3, with recovery rate reaching 50-60% or more.
Gold-bearing minerals enter the bottom of the dual-layer centrifugal drum through the upper feed pipe in pulp form. Pulp concentration controlled below 50%, feed particle size ≤6mm.
High-speed centrifugal force (hundreds of G) causes the pulp to slide upward along the inner cone. Heavy minerals (gold, tin, etc.) settle between the annular riffles, while light minerals continue moving upward.
Pressurized water enters the water jacket through the hollow shaft, sprays through inner-layer orifices into the riffle gaps to form back-flush water, fluidizing the material layer between riffles. Heavy minerals deposit to the bottom while light minerals are displaced and discharged.
Light minerals continue moving upward to the upper opening and are discharged through the tailings chute. After a period of operation, the machine stops, and the gold-bearing heavy minerals deposited between the riffles are cleaned out, completing one beneficiation cycle.

| Component | Function | Material / Features |
|---|---|---|
| Dual-layer Centrifugal Drum | Core separation component: inner cone with annular riffles and spray orifices on outer wall; outer layer forms sealed water jacket with inner layer | Stainless steel welded inner cone, wear-resistant alloy outer drum |
| Annular Riffles | Ring-shaped baffles on inner cone wall that intercept and deposit heavy mineral particles under centrifugal force | Stainless steel, spaced arrangement |
| Hollow Main Shaft | Dual function: transmission + water supply, pressurized water enters drum water jacket through hollow shaft | Hollow alloy steel shaft, sealed bearings |
| Feed Pipe | Evenly guides pulp into centrifugal drum bottom, ensuring stable material flow | Wear-resistant steel pipe, adjustable angle |
| Tailings Chute | Collects light minerals (tailings) overflowing from the drum upper opening, directs to next process or tailings pond | Q235 steel plate welded |
| Electromagnetic Speed Motor | Drives main shaft rotation, enables stepless speed adjustment for different ore types and particle sizes | YCT Series electromagnetic speed motor |
| Pressure Water System | Provides back-flush water, adjusts water pressure to control fluidized bed state, pressure range 0.05-0.18 MPa | Piping + valves + pressure gauge |
Placer gold recovery up to 99%+, vein gold monomer gold recovery up to 98% (when grinding fineness -200 mesh accounts for 65%). Enrichment ratio up to 1000 times, extremely high concentrate grade.
Pure physical gravity separation principle, no chemicals needed (no collectors, frothers, etc.), no chemical pollution, environmentally friendly, can replace mercury plate operations.
Optimized back-flush water system and centrifugal force distribution based on traditional centrifuges, reducing water consumption by 30%-40%, floor space by 1/3, significantly lowering overall operating costs.
Electromagnetic speed-regulating motor enables stepless centrifugal speed adjustment. Centrifugal force can be flexibly adjusted according to ore properties and separation requirements, adapting to different mineral types and particle size ranges.
DH-80 achieves 35-40 T/h throughput, single unit meets medium-scale mine requirements. Highly automated, daily maintenance only requires periodic cleaning of concentrate between riffles, minimal maintenance workload.
Not only for monomer gold recovery from placer and vein gold, but also for tin, tungsten, titanium, hematite and other heavy mineral separation. Can be flexibly integrated into different beneficiation flows as rougher or cleaner.
Replaces traditional sluices and mercury plate operations for placer gold roughing and cleaning. DH-20/30 suitable for small placer gold operations, DH-60/80 for medium to large placer gold mines.
Installed in grinding-classification circuit to recover liberated coarse monomer gold early, reducing over-grinding and cyanide consumption. Also used for scavenging recovery of flotation tailings.
Separation of heavy minerals (tin, tungsten, lead-zinc, etc.) from light minerals. Centrifugal field enhances density differences, achieving good recovery even for fine (-0.074mm) heavy minerals.
Processes gold-bearing tailings, smelting slag, and electronic waste for precious metal recovery. Pure physical process with no secondary pollution, balancing economic and environmental benefits.
