Raw Material Mill is the core grinding equipment in cement production lines. Edge/center drive optional, drying and grinding combined, meeting raw material supply needs for 250~2500 t/d cement production lines.
Raw Material Mill, also known as raw meal mill, is an important grinding equipment in cement production, widely used in building materials, metallurgy, power and chemical industries for grinding (drying and grinding combined) cement raw materials and other materials. Raw meal enters the tube mill after crushing and is ground into fine powder through the movement andextrusion of steel balls. This series saves 35~50% investment compared to traditional equipment at the same scale, meeting raw material supply for 250~2500 t/d cement lines. Drive types: edge drive and center drive, flexibly selectable based on site conditions and capacity scale.
Crushed raw material (size <25mm) is continuously fed into the mill cylinder through the feeding device. The cylinder is pre-loaded with steel grinding balls at a certain ratio.
The cylinder rotates at set speed (15~22 r/min). Steel balls are carried upward by the cylinder wall under centrifugal force and liner friction.
Steel balls fall under gravity after reaching a certain height, causing impact crushing of material. Meanwhile, sliding and rolling between balls produce grinding action, gradually fine-grinding the material.
Fine-ground material is discharged through the discharge device. Hot air can be simultaneously introduced for combined drying and grinding, with finished fineness of 80μm sieve residue 12~15%.
